The sex robot storyline was wasted in GITS2, the twist was wasted, major was wasted, everything was wasted but the animation.

In the manga sequel, Man-Machine Interface, the Major-Puppetmaster continues to influece things from the background, creating new lifeforms and eventually producing one even more advanced than she is and fusing with it along with one of her artificial daughters

slight inconvenience to your life isn’t worth the peace of mind to those around you

The only main reason anyone watched it was to see what happened to Major after the set up in the first one. All the talk in the first one that lead to nothing, should have had its pay off in the second. But it did not.

You seem to care about the distinction to the lengths needed to go to for that goal.

Your narrow mindset seems to think we should only address one particular aspect of any different problem at a time.

I am being responsible, the guns are inside my locked house.

My point is it was not given to him. Someone *stole* it and gave it to him.

Yes, I am pretty sure that the kid that initially took the gun broke into someone’s house to get the gun.

Actually, the #1 killer of all children over the age of 1 is unintentional injury.

This is Kinja, if I scroll to far I end up in another blog post all together.

I hope you don’t live in New Jersey

Is your attitude about legality being the only determinant of what you should do in life regardless of the risk driving the problem? Yeah, actually.

illegally stolen something from your front lawn...Care to answer the question?

The same, I would still want the gun back at the end.

Such extremes here.

Its nice that you consider the security of my personal house to the security level of government chemical and nuclear facilities.

I don’t particularly care about the child who breaks into my home, steals my gun, and then accidentally kills himself with it. I do care about getting the gun back though.

Grave of the Fireflies is one of the worst movies I have ever seen, the kid deserved everything he had coming to him.

I found the sequel to be better and more well thought out. Though I feel like they softened the punch of the big “twist” at the end, and Major was rather shoehorned in at the end.
