Not even the most expensive porn productions have a budget to come close to ANYTHING out the mainstream film industry, let alone blockbusters.

The fighting series still has a pretty strong scene, but unfortunately it’s pretty obscure, since the EVO crowd pretty much hates its counter system on a fundamental level.

“Final Fantasy XIII” at no point was open world.

It had a specific area where you can pick up fetching quests in a plateau, which is not enough to turn a linear game into an open world game. Not even close.

You know? It actually doesn’t look that bad. The rest of Black’s color scheme meshes good enough for it to work.

Other than that... yeah, this looks like DBS falling to the power creep all over again. I’m not sure how they can get out of it, though. It’s pretty much inevitable in any long running action series.

I mean, they didn’t have any problems making Kenshin a redhead in his live-action movies. Why would they now?

The Japanese film industry doesn’t have as much money at its disposal as Hollywood does, unfortunately. Not even close, even if we adjust for Hollywood’s tendency to needlessly overspend. :(

FMA is not quite an example of this.

The original FMA went for an alternate continuity, rather than creating fillers. And yes, there is a difference.

Then “Brotherhood” started from the beginning again, and follow the manga storyline this time.

To be fair, the main reason why the Arrancar Saga took so long is because Kubo was forced to stretch it out like crazy due to the popularity of the villains.

However, I think they can cut out the fat and have a pretty decent action flick.

When it comes to things like this, if there are exceptions to the rule, you don’t give up. You DEMAND the exception becomes the rule.

I’m afraid that doesn’t apply to kids these days anymore.

They can easily find out what happened before they started watching, or even marathon the previous seasons, and feel it’s pointless rather quickly.

There’s no blue in the Spanish flag, but in sport uniforms, blue is usually secondary color. Yellow is usually left for stripes and details. :P
