OK, now this is disturbing.
OK, now this is disturbing.
I don’t know why some people are being so apocalyptic about this.
I never understand why some people obsess so much with finding real life logic to anime hairstyles. Or any other artistic stylization in animation from any country, for that matter.
You know Monolithsoft and Intelligent Systems belong to Nintendo, right?
Yeah, Intelligent Systems technically has independent capital, but they’re part of Nintendo just the same, and work like any other Nintendo studio. Not to mention that all games they make are intellectual properties of Nintendo too (hence why FE…
That’s already waaaay more than other companies have done.
Seriously, people need to remember that Nintendo is still just one company.
If he’s talking from a technical stand point, then he’s right when he says it was ahead of its time.
But in terms of actual film making it’s just damn straight terrible!
They managed to recreate the jiggle physics from the game in real life?
Man, they should try to sell that material to plastic surgery clinics! They would get rich in no time!
How the hell is this even a question?
Crunch is OK when it’s THE EXCEPTION. The problem in the industry is that it’s A RULE.
Seriously, crunch time is a reality of game development, yes, but a reality that’s supposed to happen only when there’s no other choice for issues you couldn’t possibly foresee.
We shouldn’t even…
Wow! They turned Peppy into a little bit shadier character than he was before.
Ok, Nintendo, color me intrigued!
True, I forgot about the Kirby and Kid Icarus animes (the Pokémon anime was created under Yamaguchi).
Didn’t see this one coming!
Mmm... I wonder... Could this be a sign of change inside the company under Kimishima? I really don’t see Iwata doing anything like this, to be honest.
Let’s not mince words here: Kratos was a great character in the first game. But as the series went on he started to outstay his welcome, and by GOW III he just sucked. Really, REALLY hard.
You know there is a little thing called “speech coaches”, right?
Granted, she probably would need A LOT of training to tone her accent down to a level it wouldn’t be distracting. But it’s not impossible.
You say it as it was bad thing! lol
Well, that shirtless old man is surprisingly ripped!
... Holy...!
I bought the Android version a few days ago, and looks pretty great on Smartphones (some UI issues notwithstanding). But of course, the small screen prevents the BGs from looking too blurry.
Does anyone know if the Android version and PC version can share the same cloud stored save file? Because that would be awesome!…
Basically, the 3D models look pretty good for what they are, but the backgrounds are kind of blurry.
Oh, well, considering it’s a PSOne game with prerrendered BGs, I’d say they did a good job.
I still don’t get why they have this feature.
JRPGs had been using other way more compelling ways to avoid random encounters since the early 2000s.
This always has felt like a tacky way to pander to those who jumped into the stupid “JRPGs are crap at its core” bandwagon from a few years back.
