Aonuma already admitted publicly they overdid the handholding in SS big time, and learned from it. You only need to play “A Link Between Worlds” to see they truly learned their lesson.

I agree with you too... but our opinion is far from being universal.

“Translating” isn’t Aonuma’s job. :P

Double-U, tee, ef?

And I groan everytime I see people mentioning SMRPG while dimishing the fantastic “Paper Mario” and “Mario & Luigi” games.

A game about everything, in practice, becomes a game about nothing.

Well... You have an animated movie... :P

Just when I thought Kirby couldn’t possibly be more awesome...

Whitewashing the major, one of the most iconic Asian female characters of all time, already shows the producers don’t have enough respect for the source material.

I see a recurring theme in all of this. Two of the key elements of a practical costumes are: 1) flat shoes, 2) pockets.

That screenshot doesn’t look very realistic to me, to be honest...

DOA5 WAS respected by the FGC... until the “Ultimate” rerelease opened the gates for the flood of skimpy outfits.

Talk about a “power couple”. lol

Largely agree with this review. It’s an unfortunate step down when it comes to combat scenes (although they still look great), but they more than make up for it by improving in pretty much everything else.

That’s pretty much were the GGO arc ends. :P After that comes the “Calibur” arc, which like I said, it’s completely pointless. Fortunately, it’s only 4 episodes long.

Then you have the “Mother’s Rosario” arc, which is definitely worth watching. Just keep in mind that it’s massively different from the rest of the

You mean SAO? If so, I’d say not exactly. In SAO you have to go arc by arc:

There is one important aspects of “Fire Emblem”’s permadeath that I think a lot of people overlook.

The permadeath mechanic doesn’t work on its own. It needs to be supported by another element: you have to care about your units.

No permadeath supporter is trying to fool anyone, much less to themselves. Like... at all.

Nah. I think the zany romance in the upgraded support system had a bigger role, if you ask me. :P

And that’s exactly the point. It’s about having to choose between two evils: loosing your beloved unit or redo the whole chapter.

However, it’s not really wasting time: you are supposed to learn from the mistake that got your unit killed.
