To paraphrase Fake, now Real Eleanor, we've been played like a fiddle.

I'm not sure that it did. The discussions showed that a lot of people thought that something was up.

I assumed that she was built like a Barbie doll, there's nothing there.

First off — MIND…FORKING…BLOWN!! I seriously cannot think of a show that has so consistently surprised me and in a good way. That was a brilliant finale.

First, way to commit to the role, CM.

A show featuring Jason walking away from mishap after mishap would almost be like a live-action Mr. Magoo who walked through life oblivious to the havoc he caused.

Thanks for trying to help me make sense of that.

My guess is that they don't like it. But that whatever torture they experience is not what we would typically think of, so it would be:

Perhaps.

Okay, so that one has me stumped.

Not sure what's wrong with you :), but I actually get more of a "Tahani still trying to please the impossible-to-please parents" vibe from her interactions with Michael. She so wants his approval.

Perhaps, but you could accomplish both things this way:
1. "Bad" Eleanor gets on the train.
2. Train starts to leave and Trevor does his spiel about all the stops and the dining car.
3. "Bad" Eleanor peers down the corridor or walks towards the closed dining car (for what reason, I don't know)
4. She spies "Good"

I actually assumed she'd find a way to make BOTH things happen.

I don't watch time travel shows in general, but I wonder how those shows have dealt with fiddling with the past?

I'll start working on the script, you lock down Barrett's contact info :).

Hopefully they've gone as low as they plan to with the depths of his dimness and can work with what they have, otherwise I'll start to wonder how he made it through his teen years without getting killed.

That's a good point, I had forgotten about Chidi's stomachaches.

Here's the question — what would the Good Place even need a lie detector for?

I actually thought that was odd. Why would you bleed in the afterlife or for that matter feel pain? I know that that scene was done so that Michael could interpret it as some sort of explanation for what he should do, but this afterlife seems to have a number of design flaws.

She did move behind Michael. Which I found rather sweet given that he was about to hand her over to Trevor. It was as if she didn't see Michael as the bad guy, just someone who had a distasteful job to do.
