I don’t want fan-service. I want Star Trek. I want discrete, single serving adventures with interesting sci-fi concepts and gradual character growth. I do not want fully serialized Trek, and if we must have serialization I would rather have the light serialization/ big bad of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

But what we’re

Michael Chabon gets to write TNG fanfiction and get it produced. It must be cool to be him, but somewhere there’s probably a 20 year old writing better TNG fanfiction.

Given how terrible the end of the last season was I’m find with them ignoring it.

Holy shit, this looks even worse than I feared. Awful, awful, awful.

Just want to point out that Agnes Jurati is still a cold-blooded murderer and apparently faced ZERO consequences for her actions (as she did last season.)

You know what, fuck this

Enough that it would be an inconvenience and if you can’t see that it would be an inconvenience in these types of situations you’re just being obtuse.

I’d love this when I’m backing my car out of the garage to get it out of the way of something I’m working on, or when I move it from the driveway to the garage, or when I’m moving it to get another car out, or doing one of the million other things that don’t really require a seat belt.

And you know this how? Do you work in their finance department? You on the board? It’s ridiculous on its face to suggest a company doesn’t rely on sales to survive. If a game they’re publishing fails, do you suspect that maybe layoffs could occur? Maybe even a lack of future hiring? All of which you’re not considering

I agree, and I didn’t dispute that. I disputed the assumption that this person is using their actions as some sort of underhanded attempt to appear supportive while continuing to indulge in whatever behavior they enjoy in direct opposition to their stated convictions.

Just admit mate, you’re too fucking weak to actually follow through on your supposed outrage and clearly don’t give that much of a fuck

Imagine if these people used their skills for something that mattered.

There are a lot of identifiable current and former senior leadership in that top pic. No one in fall of 2013 holding a picture of Bill Cosby could possibly be confused about the message they were sending.

I think we’re going to see a lot of these assholes moving on to explore new opportunities, like sitting at home

Yes. It sucks to hear or say, but yes.

There is nothing like the threat of losing your livelihood, and therefore, the roof above your head, in order to force you to keep quiet.

It’s easy to say type out a few sentences online that you would do the right thing, but when you are online, hidden behind a user name, you aren’t putting your money where your (and

eh, this is vultures selling on this news to buy it back lower for it to go up when it all blows over. Stock pricing doesn’t mean anything when it comes to work place conditions because it’s just people taking advantage of the situation.

Aren’t most the Activision workers the actual culprits of making the place toxic (“frat boy culture” as I’ve read somewhere) to begin with?

I wouldn’t put too much stock (pun intended) in that. They’ve faced worse price drops, and if you look at the past few years they’ve done nothing but grow... Agreed, finally some consequences, but an emphasis on “some.”
