The arguement that customs will benefit weaker characters is totally wrong. Top tier character receive just as many benefits, and certain low tier characters have no viable customs. Also, Smash 4 will receive its final update soon, so they do not have the time to balance every custom move. Even if there is a miracle…
Im sure something could be decided on, but for the most competetive experience it should stay with no customs. I have watched many smash tournaments and out of the ones with custom moves allowed, there are much fewer characters chosen from.
Nintendo’s last update will be in December. They literally don’t have the time to fix it with all their other projects going on in smash. Also, Pikachu’s custom move can be comboed so its range doesnt matter if it has short range, and you can’t block with shield because the combo is started with a grab.
Smash 4 is Much more balanced. Yes there will always be better characters, but you have a much better shot with low tier characters than previous games. Even after being released for this long the tier lists are still far from static. And throwing a wrench in the balancing this late in won’t end well. I actually don’t…
