Seen comments from some of the big EU players playing through Mario PaD, and they’ve been saying that until you get to the ‘extra’ content, the main game is a bit too easy. Then after that it sort of turns into a grindfest.

Sometimes I find the stamina useful for just not playing and actually taking a break from the game...
