Yes.

There was some interview doing the rounds recently that suggested they've not even started production on 4.0, so you're probably in the right ballpark.

Given how long it's taking them to finish the Rebuild movies, no.

Nintendo is doomed?

I'd agree that in the past, some of these outlets help a purpose, because outlets outside Japan were terrible. Their meaning has mostly eroded over time, with people now far more interested in rips of CR streams of Naruto than anything unlicensed.

Unfortunately, Haruhi underperformed compared to expectations. Possibly partly due to anime fans being fickle and the fact it took them quite a long time to get it onto disc, so people moved on.

Also since it's Japan, physical releases are still ridiculously expensive.

If you want to catch stuff in Japan I believe Nico Nico has a bunch of shows, and Hulu Japan has just started stuff like Death Parade.

Most anime (if it even gets a physical release) comes in complete season sets now, or maybe split in 2 if it's a longer series or something.

*whispers Mushi-shi*

This has one of my pet peeves for anime fans, the arbitrary choice of whether to use the English title or the Japanese.

Half of those will be spent trying to find specific Nopons in their village.

As soon as there was the episode preview that brought up the Jaegers, I joked about them fighting giant robots.

Mushi-shi would like to have a word with you.

Baccano! ? (yes it has the !). It's about gangsters, alchemists, idiot thieves and more in 1930s America.
