Yeah, but sadly only as an assist, and the videos I've seen make her look like not a particularly useful one :(

It makes me think of Rage from Pokemon, where after using it you power up when you get hit.
But you play as his little sister.
Yes. The vast majority I don't want to watch, but they're very popular and/ or current/ recent series. At least from within Dengeki Bunko's stable of series.
But Shizuo? (He's the only one from the main cast I'd probably want to play).
Boogiepop is an assist too.
Yeah, 4 foot tall normal schoolgirl made me think of whatshername from that basketball anime.
There was this on the DS (Not from Sega). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dengeki_G…
She's even voiced by Kana Hanazawa!
Yes, but she's a magic basketball loli in this game.
There's got to be some sort of concession to the female fans.
Also disappointed no one from Baccano made the cut.
Of all the stuff to come out of Dengeki Bunko that is featured in the game, I think Kino's Journey is probably the best. Sadly she's only there as a support. Boogiepop Phantom is also meant to be good, but only seen about 2 eps, plus once again a support role.
Seen people joking that the acronym D(B)FC is rather appropriate given most of the cast...
He's not a girl.
From the playable cast there's erm Shizuo? (+ Celty as support)
The game contains a large variety of characters published in Dengeki imprint light novels as either playable fighters or assist characters. And while all the characters' anime voice actors return, the visual design of the characters is based on the the light novel illustrations, not the various anime…
I was talking about the 'old classics' Bonzo mentioned with that comment. For some people pre-digital era looks ugly.
Wandering Son.
That and the fact that lots of anime fans simply won't watch old stuff, so it's hard to justify a market for it.
