There are massive chunks of the earth which are now oceans thanks to 'Heaven's Fall', but they probably have underestimated how badly earth would have been hit by it.

Aldnoah.Zero basically amounts to magic aliens, but tries to robe it in scientific explanations that don't quite get there.

It just sort of made me roll my eyes. The first few episodes felt like you could do Akame Ga Kill bingo with some of the stuff that kept on happening, like:

Tatsumi remembers his friends
Mine is Tsun
Akame likes food / meat / eats a lot
Sheele is clumsy / ditzy
Joke about Balut being gay
Girls in their underwear
etc

I think…

It's just showing an example of a current Shonen and Shojo anime, which is at odds with the normal stereotype.

The new CGI movie? That's still an anime.

I know I'm not the only one on Kotaku who is disappointed not to see Nozaki-kun on the list.

So I found some Watches today. One was ¥9000 (I assume the normal one Brian got) another was ¥18000 (the new special one?).

I'd always wondered what the watch actually did once you put the medals in, and how different they were from each other.

Hopefully now that he's getting a bit more recognition, what with the Adventure Time & Space Dandy episodes, on top of his own repeatedly critically acclaimed shows, he might be able to slow down.

Something interesting I found out was that the backgrounds on each ep were done in 1 week (http://www.cartoonbrew.com/interviews/del…) with the animation in 2-3.

It's been the show I've enjoyed most so far, but comedy (especially in anime) seems to be very divisive with people. Episode 4 was the highlight of the season so far for me.
