All I can think of right now:

I must have played it around that age too, it was quite difficult even for me and I played the hell out of Westwood’s other games, original C&C, Red Alert etc.

Then everyone played it and realised the mistake they made.

I have to agree, the only MMOs that kept me playing this long were Star Wars Galaxies and WoW. I’m playing in one of the top guilds on my server and playing a stupid amount of hours and basically almost all free time I have goes into either playing it or thinking about it, this has lasted the entire month of release…

Yea, it’s the same argument to be made for things like Chess I guess, perhaps the definition itself needs to be a bit more broad.

I called this about a year ago after they split from SOE and Georgeson left. Dead project walking after all that, very disappointed.

It’s not a perfect game, I’m not going to pretend it is, but what you stated was misinformed. Either you’re too used to themepark MMOs or you haven’t seen what BDO has to offer.
