Yea, depth channel, Z-Buffer, same thing :) I’m more used to the 3D design software terminology.

From what it looks like, he’s just rendering the game using the depth channel, near = black, far = white. Relatively easy to do in terms of graphics but definitely a fun and interesting outcome nevertheless.

I completely agree, I can’t imagine anything more boring to do in Minecraft than painstakingly copy out a high res image pixel by pixel. In fact, I’d rather code a bot that can convert images into pixel art in the game world for me than do it myself, would be far more interesting.

Well, can’t deny the money aspect of the experience, if he can get people to pay him to sit there and be bored out of his mind laying block after block and pixel counting then go ahead I guess but it still seems undeniably the most tedious thing to have to do.

I have plenty of my own to speak of, but for me this looks like it would have been boring / tedious as hell to make and I literally can’t comprehend why someone would enjoy putting themselves through it.

Yea, I don’t get the point of this either, you could have achieved the same thing in MS Paint in less time. All it shows is how much time he has to waste on something that MUST have been extremely boring to make.

They’re going to be testing a ban system this summer apparently, it seems stupid to me that they wouldn’t have it in already but there we go :P

What would happen if you didn’t even own 10 and the 6 banned and 9 other picked heroes were all the ones you own? You would literally be pick/banned out of the match, unable to play.

It’s not pay to win and there’s a really good reason for them capping it at 10 minimum.

There’s plenty of lax security out there so could well have been an honest mistake and RSI have been pretty open about all the development.

Unfortunately, from what I’ve read, there’s no longer a way to obtain one. Was a limited time ship for sale a while back. Not sure if it’s going to be in the game to buy or earn at some point but I’d sure love another shot at one since I didn’t see the post about this one until it was too late :(

Well sure, but if she was being shady about it too, she could just take off; but because her reputation would go down the toilet (and cosplayers kind of rely on that to help their revenue streams) I think it’s probably legit.
