I just google searched bee tween, first result that looked fairly accurate and posted. Yours is definitely closer though :P
It's actually not too difficult, vmware does most of the work for you these days, including some emulation drivers for the basic compatibility with modern hardware issues. You should definitely look into it if you want to play it again :)
Nice! I guess he's not working there any more since Totally Games barely makes anything any more? It is indeed hard to believe though, hopefully the resurgence of the genre these last couple of years will help persuade Disney to wake up.
Yea, but it seemed to be sorely lacking from the things I'd seen about it.
I actually got it running on win98 through vmware and it ran pretty well, but there needs to be an updated version for sure.
You mean I can have my very own mini Peter Dinklage on my desk? SOLD.
When X-Wing vs Tie Fighter rolled around it originally ran at a snails pace for me, ended up upgrading to a Voodoo 3 2000 and everything was golden again. I think XvT lost some of the charm the original 2 games had though, since there was no more animated concourse and proper cutscenes etc.
Perhaps they did the patched Windows version and the original was made by Lucasarts?
It was pretty far from those old games though from what I've heard / seen.
One thousand times this.
Actually the original X-Wing was made by Lucasarts, everything since then was passed to Totally Games and Lucas just published them. That aside, they are indeed still a company at least, but I doubt they'll get hired by EA, because that would mean actually listening to their customers.
Yea, wishful thinking I know.
