Shame you're completely wrong, I've played the ME games loads and I hated both characters, I just hated Kaiden a bit less. It also fit better with my character's storyline and choices.

Stating the obvious here but... It may very well be a bad game that's at the top of the app store charts but you've had 3-4 articles on it in the last few days so you're only serving to boost its exposure and are, in fact, helping the creator.

I agree 100%, they didn't ruin the franchise immediately though. Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 both came out before EA closed down the actual Westwood studios and they were both still solid games. It's the monstrosities that came after that happened that ruined it all, though admittedly I still enjoyed C&C 3.

Such a refreshing point of view, I'm not a huge fan of some of EA's decisions but I know for a fact this was Maxis' decision because of the creative control you mentioned.

It's not impossible, I just don't see them doing it.

Play SimCity 4 instead and add in loads of additional building mods if you're so inclined, SimCity will never have as big cities as its predecessor because the "simulation" they run for all the stuff in a city would bring your PC to its knees at the sizes SimCity 4 cities are.
