It's still mechanically impressive at the very least, that's some precision movement.
That was exactly my point, sure kids are gonna make mistakes, but I'm fairly sure I had enough common sense not to bring kitchen knives and stuff to school o.O
So many parents these days are fucking despicable, teach your kid right from wrong and some god damn common sense you idiots.
Seems a bit of an overreaction in the post then? I guess I'll have to see for myself when I pick it up.
So jealous of people with Cintiqs T_T but I currently don't have any room to put it haha.
Hmm fair enough I guess, but there has to be some way around it. I wager you use the map a lot more times than you change camera mode.
I haven't played it myself yet, but what does the Back / Select button do? Seems like a waste if that isn't the dedicated map button :\
I would honestly rather watch a series that had constantly escalating fights of awesomeness than some dumb shit kid who can't even tell what a Mankey is without looking in his Pokédex and loses every single major tournament.
I loved that comic :P
Wasn't Carmack working on this project to help reduce that? I remember him talking in an interview a while back about tweaking so the parts had the lowest possible latency as to not affect the player. That was, however, a long time before he started working on the Rift so maybe he'll pull that out for the finished…
Yea I know right? That early butterfree kicked so much ass for me in the early gyms. I miss those days :P
The more I see these Oculus Rift videos the more I wish I'd gone for 1 of the development kits, but I think my restraint will pay off when they bring out the commercial product with more support and better resolution screens.
I started back on Red on the original Game Boy, I always remember how different that game felt when I first played it, expectation meets reality meets not knowing the game very well yet, something I wish I could capture again but I know will never happen.
I'm cautiously optimistic, this could be huge for Linux gaming, there's always been a distinct lack of interest in the Linux crowd from most / bigger game devs due to not enough perceived player base vs time/cost spent porting it.
Yea, there's been a lot of these as of late, I think the last 1 they posted was RinaMei
Considering this was built over a game that was made 8 years ago I would say you are :P
Quite possible, I tend to find that most PC gamers get at least one console though since you miss quite a few games otherwise, but it does depend.
Yea fair point, and that Vita comment was pretty funny :) it's like she didn't even know what a PS4 was :P
