I... find it attractive. The weight is enough to scare me away though.

I’ve started to see lots of the inevitable fart-canned decal laden cracked after-market bumper first gen BRZ’s out there. Guess the kids are finally getting their hand on em.
I’m not a tough-guy by any means, but I can’t imagine I wouldn’t start swinging at these dudes. Not saying it would go well, but unless they presented a weapon, I’m not standing there watching.
I sold my ‘13 BRZ in 2017 for practicality reasons, but I also can’t guarantee I won’t end up buying the new one.
I clicked the link thinking I was about to read about a Prius facelift, disappointed to learn I was wrong.
And the 530i comes with a 2.0 turbo.
I’ve thought about purchasing one of these as a toy/around town car. They’re unfortunately rather hard to find on the market, at least where I live.
Agreed. I bought a BRZ in its’ first year, just a few months after it became available. Never again!
Its competition is the Bronco Sport with the 3-cyl turbo. That said, I haven’t driven either.
Or I’ve been alive long enough to know people who’ve owned vehicles from said brands that confirm they live up to their reputation. And, you know, verifiable consumer data that backs it up.
Right? I thought I was reading satire for a second there. I’m beginning to question the automotive knowledge of Jalopnik writers.
They’ve already begun doing soon the FL Turnpike, although it’s kind of a mess. Some have FPL (the local utility) charging stations, others only have Tesla superchargers.
The roofline also looks warped. I think it’s just the camera lens.
gotcha, I shoulda known that
I fantasize about this often given my WFH situation; the problem is finding another job if the current one goes away.
Agree, this will compete with ICE cuvs... My response was to the suggestion that this will compete with the model Y. Tesla buyers tend to buy for the power.
Pedantic... You know what I meant.
Agreed, my point was it doesn’t compete with Tesla in that regard.
Isn’t the Insight also basically the same size? Just put a gas engine in it and call it a Civic. Looks better anyway.
