The $2500 wasn’t a deterrent because it wasn’t new - misleading reporting simply implied it was. That’s always been how their reservation process works.

Yeah, making more deliveries to Canada and leaving a lot of production “in transit” squeaked them in
Please stop what? I am not making assumptions here, the one making assumptions here is YOU! This was posted here:
If those batteries are punctured they catch fire right away. So, unless the car is on-fire in the factory ... no punctured batteries made it into cars. No FMEA required.
Lawyers know even less about batteries than electrical engineers.
The chance of his statement being true is close to 0. Well I can’t say about all his claims with 100% accuracy, but I can about the punctured batteries being put into cars. The chance of that happening is 0. I’ll wager my degree in electrical engineering on it.
In particular, he claims, that Tesla place batteries “containing dangerous puncture holes in vehicles”
It’s interesting to watch so many here shitting on Tesla, a company arguably more American than GM, yet not a peep is mentioned about the trouble GM is having ramping up the Bolt.
If you read the article, it seems like they actually built 5000 cars. I guess you guys aren't the first to just read the headline and assume you know what you're talking about, though.
Zero. You can drive zero far on the shoulder to the exit, when the shoulder is completely empty of cars. There are likely cars in the right lane waiting to get to the offramp, so when you pass them, you’re cutting ahead in line, and you’re an asshat. (A proper SoCal ramp would’ve had a quarter-mile long line, and most…
Not sure if sarcastic or not. I’m pretty sure Chevy had a goal of 500-700 units per week in 2017 and they ended up only making 200 per week on average. If Tesla is actually making 2,000 per week, that is 10x the production rate Chevy achieved. Also, didn’t Chevy have to shut down the factory because they made too many…
I don’t know why nobody seems to realize this in any article I’ve read about the I-Pace. Only 2 claimed miles more than the Model X 75D with 15kWh more battery, while also being smaller and lighter. I’d be embarrassed if I were Jag, which is unfortunate because I’d be interested in an electric Jag!
Size isnt everything,
That was a serious blowing away. The age of the internal combustion engine as the powerplant of fast cars is ending.
The 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk makes 707 horsepower thanks to its Hellcat motor. The Tesla Model X gets 259…
Sorry I saw the bolt and immediately threw up.
Clearly they have never taken apart a Maserati Ghibli.
Well it’s not like he is going to say “This is built better than any of my clients vehicles!” now is it?
I feel like citing a Reddit user is like using Wikipedia on your college essay. Yeah, we all do it, but maybe you shouldn’t readily admit that.
I personally read of other BS going on... like an owner that would have repeated ‘problems’ with their Model S... and a tech noticed that a box under the hood appeared to have been tampered with.
