Believe you me, as a PC gaming prodigal child who returned after a 15 year hiatus... My takeaway from all this is to never pre-purchase PC games. No matter who makes it. Fallout 4 will have to wait.

Just to be clear, you have to purchase a digital copy on last gen to receive the free upgrade. Hard copies from physical retailers like Gamestop and Amazon will not get upgrades.
