That makes the most sense. They could redesign it, and re-release it with a new lower price point. Otherwise, it made no sense given the current lineup.

I tried SMPlayer a while back but I stayed with VLC. I have WMP (Win7 version) and KMPlayer as my backup players, but I may check out SMPlayer to see if it's improved recently.
