1. Yeah, I do think that BoxBoy (and the Joker release for Smash) is the April game. That said, May is wide open, and the rumor about Metroid Prime Trilogy is that it’s done and just waiting for a slot, and I could see why they’d maybe hold that back from the Direct, so maybe that’s it.

2. From a financials

I think that’s longer than I spent playing the game on Wii U before turning it off.

Yeahh. I want to get it.. but at the same time, not for $60. Not even for $48 with my BBGC discount. I wish it was $39.99, I would have grabbed it immediately. Maybe it will get discounted eventually.

I played this on Wii U. This is my least favorite mario game ever. I didn’t even finish it. It looks and feels clinical and has none of that classic mario charm. I was never excited to play the next level.

This was my first game for the Wii U, and I thought it was godawful. I think I got into World 2 or 3 or something and just lost interest. It was so uninspired.

It still makes me irrationally angry that the Internet Collective Hivemind™ name for the Peach-Bowser hybrid is Bowsette. No, I don’t care that the Peach-Bowser portmanteaus sound dumb. Peachette is named because she’s a Peach-Toadette fusion, Peach-Bowser should follow the same rules.

It’s doable, right? And to be clear, we DO order some things from Amazon that we just can’t get locally at all, like water filters for the fridge. But hell, I even went to BestBuy to get a new charging cable for my phone. Bought it the same day my old one started to fritz out. Best Buy. How have we gotten to the point

We were the same, except we put diapers on “subscribe and save.” Diapers were stolen from our porch. DIapers arrived late. Then we realized we were pretty good at predicting how long a pack of diapers or a can of formula would last, and just bought everything at Costco, a company that objectively does NOT suck.

It’s not limited to the holidays. Amazon has been deliberately lying about delivery times for orders for a couple of years now. I was an early Prime adopter and literally only buy from Amazon if the item is listed as Prime eligible. Items don’t show up and Amazon tries to tell me the item wasn’t Prime eligible. I

I can’t stop buying shit for this goddamn console... my 400GB memory is in pinch again. 128->256->400... now I am actually waiting for 1tb. Yes, this is me owning most of the library in Physical. If 2019 has less bezel, power efficient, bigger battery model, consider that purchased.

I’m playing the stereotypical “this is why we can’t have nice things” card, but man am I hopeful we hear more about Shin Megami Tensei V for 2019.

In my experience, none are more vitriolic than those lash out in the name of defending the perceived wrongs of others. Political Correctness is not made up, is a path of least resistance to be as aggressive to those with whom you disagree, while being shielded within the parameters of current social acceptability. It’s

Well it wasn’t posed to me but i’ll give it a shot. It’s usually about portraying yourself as a holier than thou person and attempting to gain social cache via pointing out that you are a muchhhhh better person than everyone else.

You’ll wait because you have nothing else going on and you spend all your time here desperately trying to interact with other people and show them how much better of a person you are than them.

With all that’s going on in the world THIS is what “offends” people? It’s idiocy like this that makes me root for the “Giant Meteor”...

In his defense, Welles was a personal friend, and I think he feels he’s done a service to him to finish that final film, even though it’s quite a mess. They were genuinely close when no one else wanted to help Welles.  Half the movie industry should have pitched in, just out of respect.

Yeah, this. It wasn’t a perfect game but it’s fun, memorable, and challenging. To top it off, the article only mentions anything even SLIGHTLY related to the headline twice... that it’s using a “tired damsel trope” and that the princess gets squished by a cartoon cow.

I never saw Earthworm Jim as being cruel or mean-spirited, just dumb and goofy.

Is the only reason you believe this game to be cruel is that the princess is crushed by a cow at the end? If so, why do you feel that this is the game’s entire vision?

I’m not sure I follow the thought process here. Earthworm Jim is a failed experiment because the levels are difficult to navigate and the princess is flattened by a cow? I mean, by treating her as pointless, killing her with a cow, and calling her Whats-Her-Name, it seems Earthworm Jim is satirizing how other games do
