Looks to me like the wobbly crane was powerful enough to lift the trailer on it’s own, judging from the slack line on the middle unit as it came free. I wonder if a recovery truck located where the midpoint crane was, with a deadline tieoff out the opposite side and a live line running to the trailer would have worked

A slightly different way to look at this is the way higher end aircraft are treated. Oftentimes a “worn out” jer- think Gulfstream, Lear, etc- are taken back to the basic airframe, inspected, engines replaced/rebuilt/uprated, and all instrumentation updated to modern standards. Then it gets a new or refurbished

Hell, I've got a plasma cutter and a tig welder. Bring on the Taycan!

On the topic of minivans. My wife and I are on our second one, love it, and actively looking for another, newer model to replace it. 4 kids ranging from 5 months to 8 years, with the mandatory freaking space suit carseat for infant makes the height and ease of access from dual sliding doors amazing. Think about that

On that one- straight piped 6.0 powerstroke. Sounds like a plane, pulls like a train. At least till the head gaskets blow.

I’m a lifelong Ford guy but that news, right there, is enough for me to at least consider the suburban for my next family vehicle. No Z71? Meh... I’d rather have my kids not screaming in terror every time they see our car’s face.
