I got it my freshman year of HS and I was terrified. My physical therapy amounted to chewing gum and opening and closing my mouth and blinking as often as I could. It took about a week to reach its apex (full droop on right side of my face) and another 2 weeks to be fully gone.

I think the fact that the skills competitions (dunk contest, home run derby, etc.) of various all-star events are more intriguing and interesting than the actual games is evidence enough that they offer the most fertile ground for development. In the case of the NFL, I think they should replace the game altogether.

These stories need to stop.
