The movies he directs/stars in are excellent.
I'd put mine in that order too
Man, Captain America gets NO love in here
Reverse snobbery is such a perfect way of describing the attitude. You can also add not being able to write in cursive to this list of skills that people seem weirdly proud in lacking.
I guess one man's trash really is another man's treasure
It shouldn't be, this is only the second major iteration of Windows Phone. It took quite a few versions of iOS before legacy iPhone's really started to get left behind.
[redacted] review from Barrett's birthday post?
I netted $200 selling the Air and buying the Series 9, which is specced almost identically but has USB 3.0 and a couple other ports. That was a good enough bonus to convince me I'd rather do that than exclusively run Windows on a Mac.
I'd love a slight bump, to maybe 3.8" or so, but that's all. 4.6" is ridiculous
"The fact that you even have to clarify that is disgusting." - I snort-laughed pretty hard in my cube when I read that.
I remember being very very interested in this last year when Giz featured it in their body hacks week, but from what was mentioned then the magnets didn't survive in their silicon sheath for 3 years like this one apparently has
Your math is off. That difference of 1.5% represents an increase of almost 15% in the rate of deaths (1.5/10.2 = 14.7% increase)
There isn't a point. Other than "look what we did!"
The Fire sold millions of units and had more preorders than the iPad. If that's not succcessful I don't know what is
Every UI element you mention is smaller on the iPhone than it is on the iPad, and perfectly usable.
I've used a Fire.... I don't really know where you're going with that question. Your point about "well known 7 inch tablets" is as true as the point that there were tablets before the iPad, and just as irrelevant. And the point of an 8" tablet is not to be "impressive". Put a Kindle Fire next to an iPad and the size…
I've owned an iPad and an iPad 2. The changes to the iOS are minimal.
Fragmentation? Keep the resolution to 1024x768, there is none. Apps run exactly the same with no scaling necessary. Bonus, they can go on about the increased pixel density, a la the iPhone and probably iPad 3.
