Yeah I'd heard that mobile IE is very good now, even if it does need some polishing. I'd really like to use a WP7 device and see what it's like but haven't gotten around to it

That won't save me from hating using the Android browser. Speed isn't everything, otherwise I'd be switching browsers on my computer every time there's a new fastest-loading-browser king

Volcom is denying him the prize, but not for either of those reasons. Their explanation is he violated rule 3, which is weird because it looks like he is actually above the lip. I can't really tell from that angle though

Yeah, my problem was a misconception of DPI. Thanks for the explanation

I agree with what you're saying but I just want to point out that the article talks about doubling DPI, not quadrupling it. So I think (estimate, without doing any math) you're looking at something around 1080p on a 13"

I don't bother watching this show but these recaps are priceless reading

The stab at Fruit Ninja made me chuckle

I actually have to wait for an entire 15 second ad to play before I can read the "article" compiling the best deals to spend money on today? Go fuck yourself

@Pzychotix: All the time. In fact, when the iPhone for Verizon was announced I actually started keeping track of how often I used a data connection while on the phone. I've done it 10 times in about 3 weeks

I won't be switching anytime soon. I haven't had any problems with AT&T so there really isn't a reason to pay the ETF. Also the no data available while talking on the phone is a pretty big negative for Verizon. I'm sure it will be worth it for many though

I'll try it out. For me the problem usually isn't the process of theming, it's the lack of really good themes and the themes horrendous lack of performance

@McMike: You're right, maybe it's a line of TV's

An industry first? David Blaine will unveil a new phone, by literally pulling it out of his ass

@lostwallet: Yes, that's in giz's original post on the Playbook

@nobodyr: Thank god there's someone reasonable here who's not posting a knee-jerk reaction. That's exactly what this is for, now there is an official record that the teen was was breaking traffic regulations when she was hit, which will go a long way towards protecting the driver in court and with the insurance.

That battery life sounds like a bit of a stretch but the whole concept of a watch that just displays certain info and controls limited functions on a phone is pretty cool. It's a nice compromise between practicality and nerdtastic over-featuring

When?

@NullPointerException: The Confederacy used a Vigenere cipher during the Civil War, the person on the receiving end would use a key they had to decipher the message very quickly.

I've never heard of this before, it's pretty hilarious. I got just over 7.4 meters and honestly I was just laughing the entire time because of the ridiculous running animations and crunching sounds when I fall

@Nasdaf: Perhaps he'll be a villain in the next movie
