@McMike: You're right, maybe it's a line of TV's

An industry first? David Blaine will unveil a new phone, by literally pulling it out of his ass

@lostwallet: Yes, that's in giz's original post on the Playbook

@nobodyr: Thank god there's someone reasonable here who's not posting a knee-jerk reaction. That's exactly what this is for, now there is an official record that the teen was was breaking traffic regulations when she was hit, which will go a long way towards protecting the driver in court and with the insurance.

That battery life sounds like a bit of a stretch but the whole concept of a watch that just displays certain info and controls limited functions on a phone is pretty cool. It's a nice compromise between practicality and nerdtastic over-featuring

When?

@NullPointerException: The Confederacy used a Vigenere cipher during the Civil War, the person on the receiving end would use a key they had to decipher the message very quickly.

I've never heard of this before, it's pretty hilarious. I got just over 7.4 meters and honestly I was just laughing the entire time because of the ridiculous running animations and crunching sounds when I fall

@Nasdaf: Perhaps he'll be a villain in the next movie

I'm pretty sure I saw something like this floating in the men's bathroom at work this morning. There was nothing Newtonian about it, I know that

@crazycaveman eats the whales: I googled and found that amazon link but it says "add to wishlist" so I figured it's not out yet. I'll check gamestop though. I'm ok with wired because I sit pretty close while playing and I've had 4 play and charge kits just stop charging my battery pack so that I have to leave the

They're making 250 of them? Are you fucking kidding me? It's an Xbox controller, not a Ferrari. And does that 250 include the blue one or just orange? The orange is ugly but I'd be all over the blue one

The whole HDMI mirroring is cool, but outputting a game from your phone to an HDTV while having to use the phone as a controller is useless. A Bluetooth controller would make it pretty awesome though

@Annalee Newitz: If anything they're the ultimate result of male sentience

Morons will always get in the way of science

@Standish: His use of spare is correct

@acrobaticrabbit: The "Everyone was in costume!" part was what totally made it for me

My parents are cool, I'm friends with both of them. They use Facebook properly and don't bother me at all so I don't regret it. Of course, if accepting your parents as friends on Facebook turns out to be a mistake, it's not really one you can undo in good taste so it's a decision that you should probably weigh

@Dynosaulo: Will the TV then have motion blur like a 60hz LCD?

My parents have the 55" LED model and while the picture is great it still has that horrific 240HZ motion smoothing that completely destroys any movie I try to watch. I won't be getting one myself until they can fix that
