@atfyfe: I don't really know how to say this without totally copping out of the discussion but it's late so here goes: I think that while both the scenarios you present are possible, I won't get into going back and forth over them. I think the crux of Cobb's character in the movie is your last sentence. Everything in

@atfyfe: I just chalked that up to her trying to convince Cobb to stay in limbo with her. I think to have everything in the entire movie be a dream would be too easy, basically there's no consequences or anything at stake. But one thing that did bother me was once when he came out of a dream (I think the one where

@Deekle: I think it's basically related to lucid dreaming, where you have vivid dreams in which you are aware you are dreaming. You can have those regularly with practice

Sci-fi is almost exclusively my genre of choice for all the reasons she listed here.

These are cool but it would probably be easier and cheaper to do it with a mined out asteroid

I don't give a shit about any of these possibilities except iOS4.x for the iPad. Please Apple I'm begging you, even your pseudo-multitasking is better than what I have now.

@R4V3N: Yes I believe so, it's a separate chip and antenna from the cellular one I think

@theimmc: I had an 01 A4 that was wired that way. It was great, I could lock my phone in the car to charge during lunch. My newer car won't do that though

It's ridiculous to me that the court used the expectation of privacy justification on this one. While I could see that being fine if they were taking pictures or video of the person while they're outside in their driveway (it's private property but they're essentially out in the open) it's completely another thing to

@skinned: Yeah, what company would ever want data that helps their marketing. It's unconscionable.

@DrGonzho: They're not a large group?

@grigori: So I can rewatch it whenever I want, like I can with a DVD or Blu-ray, without having to pay for it again.

@Bam Margera: Half of it is luck. I've got 3 stars on every single level but most of them I couldn't tell you how to do it

Now as long as HP markets their WebOS tablet as "the Angry Birds Pad" it'll be a smashing success

I honestly had no idea they sold Bugatti's to people who have to make payments on them.

Sorry, $.99 for an HD episode that I get to keep is what it takes to stop me from pirating

If it slid open to reveal buttons and a D-pad for playing games then I'd be more excited. But I suppose the speaker would be useful for showing a small group of people a video

@dallasmay: Unfortunately for a 3D screen to be worth watching at 21" you'll have to be pretty close; enough to see the difference in resolution, otherwise you'll be far enough away for the experience to be underwhelming. Whether the screen will be any good to watch or not will depend on the distance their "sweet

@I Think We're Property: Pixel size is determined by the combination of screen size and pixel density, not just resolution. I don't know how you got that I was saying the pixels were going to be huge. They won't be on a 21" screen. Also that's not irony
