@dogved: Their previous efforts worked in some parts of the world, india and brasil, that's a lot of people there, it just didn't catch on in the west/america.

Chance it's silverlight..calculating.... 101%, margin of error 1%.

In hear that in europe they use their neighbor's car as firepit, it's an idea for if you don't have an old washingmachine handy.

@junior ghoul: What I meant with the profit remark is that it's not like some commercial labs where everything is kept quiet and patented and privately owned, this is stuff that's fundamental and you do not patent it you simply observe and ponder, and then yes the scientific community will have a better understanding

I's funny how it's all 'magic' and 'super' again what's in the tech news, is that really the best the world's naming and marketing community can think up?

@PaddyDugan: Question: which is the one country who had it coming?

@MayorBloomberg: You think it's coincidence that not 1 but 3 books that were in the top like that suddenly went away? I mean 1 might lose popularity but 3 of them in one day?

I sometimes wonder if it's the drugs steve got for his transplant that influenced him, do they give anything related to or affecting hormones?

@blehbleh13: Who censored that anyway? Gizmodo or apple or some 3rd party?

@WingedGenius: "openly associated"? pixar is owned by disney, disney's largest shareholder and chairman is steve jobs..

@vel0city: "As of June 2009, there are 20 generic top-level domains (gTLDs) and 248 country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) in the root domain."

@scidgy: Now that makes sense.

@Soap Flakes: I'm not sure, is it harder to replace the beams or to unbend the warped tracks? Best thing would be to do both I guess, although you would still leave the enemy valuable metals and burning wood.

@FritzLaurel: note that he said 'in 1945', that's the time when things went sour for them, they became extra sauer krauts as it were and at that point being constructive wasn't high on the list.

@junior ghoul: Haha, you seriously don't know that thousands upon thousands left to other countries, and lived there and obviously a good number also had kids there, it's not like that's some secret, some countries have a great many of them, and israel only went after the ones involved in the concentration camps not

@Maave: Really? You think there's a classical non internet assisted phone system active everywhere, one that can reach the US on top of that?

@Sumada: Yeah but they are also known for incredible failures :/

I think this system is for if some dumb-ass president uses that 'kill switch' thing, either by mistake or because he's bonkers like so many presidents are, and then they can use this to reset it after he sat out all his terms and re-elections.

@junior ghoul: The LHC is an international scientific project, it costs so much that it requires funding from many nations, so no there aren't many LHC's (or close to it).

@Charliehorse: Einstein was one of those worried I think, but what did he know he wasn't even idling on the internet and commenting on websites and youtube, so clearly he lacked the depth and intelligence to understand science like those that do.
