@Almightywhacko: Some people are so under the thumb of religion they can't even type 'bullshit' anymore I'm told.

Two things, first of all this isn't a cult thing but a joke, a satire, the hairdryer thing. you have to be really confused to not get that.

@38thsignal: I always assume all those ads for penis enlargement are meant for asians and it's just their rough unspecific spam-shotgun that reaches all the western consumers.

@Ryanrule: I get plenty of penis enlargement spam, but I don't recall seeing a breast enlargement one, so that must be targeted at you specifically I guess? Have you been claiming you are a horny girl online perhaps?

@vel0city: European mcdonalds used facial recognition on their security cams to warn about banned unwanted troublemakers in their burgerplaces years ago already.

@iansilv: One hopes it will ripen to offer middle eastern types driving lessons.

@iansilv: Haha, if you mean with 'terrorist' people that aren't in line with the government's mantra and/or people that like personal freedom, then maybe, if you mean (muslim etcetera) idiots that blow up people then you are sadly mistaking.

@Sprzout: Perhaps another word than 'good' might be more appropriate here?

@chodaboy19: They did an x-ray on the mona lisa in 2006 and mentioned the sfumato technique and a stippling technique, And I would not be surprised they also did it years before that, and will probably do it again years from now, or at least the weekend news will report they did.

@JS_Drupal: Oddly enough adobe has no registration info for one 'leonardo devinci', researchers are trying to find out how he could have gotten photoshop without paying.

@markbe: No I do NOT own a mac (nor iphone or any apple product in fact), but I DO hate propriety crap by a company that has been re-rolling out security fixes and incompetence fixes on the the same bits of software for year and years because half their coders can't figure out you need to have sufficient buffers and

@awhitemormon: Maybe they changed the rules because of such shenanigans?

The wikipedia article on Sfumato was originally written in 2005 then updated/re-written in 2008 and 2009, but it specifically mentions the mona lisa.

@Dragonfang18: They've been x-raying paintings for several decades, so the idea is not new, but on the other hand somebody working at some museum might be watching futurama and have realized they forgot to do it to the mona lisa, although I'm not sure how old this news is, maybe the x-raying was done quite some time

Knife - shiv, what's the difference.

@Charles Keledjian: Adobe just makes it available, the sites decide to use it, MS however makes all their stuff use silverlight so it's not a choice by any 3rd party.

@Alexander Cardosa: No I did not notice any innovation from religion so far, but they only had a few thousand years, maybe they need more time.

They should just have mailed their customers a small note 'don't hold it at the freaking antenna', and have left it at that.

@hengehog: Yeah wonderful how they try to force silverlight down people's throat using astronomical data gathered with tax money, probably form several countries, simply wonderful.

Pity it's soiled by the MS name.
