@lilalienpup: That's why I said until monitors tack your eye, your eye is constantly moving and scanning and adjusting focus, a game is not, so you will be scanning blurred areas if tehy use DoF which is experienced as annoying, especially if there is movement in that area

@octasquid: Sony manufactures pro-DSLR's (and industry HD TV cameras), they just hired an outside outfit I guess, but sony certainly has cameras that could do this on a professional level.

I think bokeh effects are like lensflare ones, they should not be in games they are flaws in lenses.
