My dad tried doing an enamel respray on a tub once, it stuck for like six months, then began to chip. He meticulously prepped the tub beforehand, but it still failed somehow.

Mine was hit on street w/o me in it the day after Easter this year. Steering was dead, CVT was horrible, Transfer case was on last leg and screamed non-stop.
