I started therapy about two years ago and initially sought out a black male therapist but couldn’t find any within my network. So I dialed down to black women therapists and it turns out I knew several of them so that was off the books. Strangely I ended up with a white woman who is around my age.

All this at a time when white folks are protesting to go outside while it seems black folks may be safer inside.
