They totes play around in them! They’re huge nerds! They’re just huge nerds for a living. Can we fault them for living the dream?

You can already play with Grand Tournament cards in the Tavern Brawl, not sure how this didn't get mentioned already
Can’t you hear, can’t you hear them Drunder?
They should do something like this for every multiplayer game. Just say, “it’s okay to play like an asshat, we’ll just put you with all the asshats”. Most asshats would like that, I think!
Oh for real? The character with the most spoken dialogue in the game isn’t really there the whole time? The other characters that talk about them, that never happened?
Ah, close enough. The New-U stations are the part of the game I interacted with most frequently. They could have made them innocuous but they didn’t, they made them a super integral part of the franchise. Retconning them is dumber than deploying some scifi handwavium. Saying they aren’t canon makes as much sense as…
Yeah - but Angel is on your side, and she IS Hyperion’s system. So of course she put you on the respawn whitelist.
So clearly there are some scenarios that preclude New-Uing back to life. Angel was in control of the system and was intentionally sacrificing herself. Jack — he died like 20 feet from a terminal so I’m guessing he was sabotaged somehow, maybe by Angel or any of his other many enemies. Roland I’m guessing was…
But they are mentioned in BL and BL 2. In addition to their own unique dialogue, they’re referenced by Claptrap and Handsome Jack.
Especially true for Scooter, whose claim to fame was hacking that same technology to make the Catch-a-Ride stations. I’m sure he has a New-U station ready to respawn him.
They draw a lot of attention to them with the in-game chatter whenever you respawn. They do only seem to work for current Vault Hunters, that we know of, and it’s real weird that Jack himself wasn’t hooked into the system. But he does specifically reference them in his in-game dialogue (running monologue) in BL2. I’m…
Eh, the PCs have survived worse scrapes, and none of them know the tech.
Picked up the hammer = worthy
There's no danger, except to evil/Giants. If he wasn’t worthy, he couldn’t pick it up.
Correct
“I would push him over in his chair immediately to assert my dominance and supremacy like a lion does in the wild.”
Doesn’t the state also have to balance its responsibility to the other child?
No, I think i’ll remain exactly this obtuse if that means i’m not accusing people of supporting rape when they oppose abortion. I mean someone could do both, if they were a double-monster, but this guy is not, to my knowledge, doing that. He's just a regular pro-life kind of idiot.
So under certain circumstances, society can choose for someone? And tell them what to do with their body?
Is he though? He’s not pro-rape, he's just against abortion (even in cases where it's the obvious right thing to do).
