Jesus. Cry me a river.

SO edgy, SO shocking, to make a joke about someone with alopecia.  Oh wait...alopecia is the main cause of hair loss for people across the globe...and dudes get made fun of it all day every day and nobody gives a shit...and its not an illness...  Is it mean?  Sure.  Does it warrant *literally assaulting someone*?  No,

Traditionally, ableism has specifically been discrimination on the basis of disability, not just bullying people for looking different (that’s just ‘bullying’). Being bald is not a disability, and it’s insulting both to disabled people AND  to bald people to claim that it is.

“ableist”? Maybe I’m misunderstanding the term, but is ableist the right description of the joke? Is it because he’s able to grow hair and she isn’t? I don’t know that the word is fitting here given how it is generally used in connection with those with mental or physical disabilities. I’m not sure alopecia counts as

Power of the Dog was written by a gay dude who grew up in Montana.

The formerly bullied are now reveling in their chance to be bullies, and you sound exactly like the type.

The fact that you made this situation about you says way more than necessary.

I think everyone expected The Weeknd to be a superstar after the Super Bowl and “Blinding Lights” took off

Fans seemed particularly angered with Doja for not tweeting or posting any photos from her time in Paraguay (as if that’s a thing she’s obligated to do).

Look, capitan- ok, just wait, ok- hear us out:

Man, talk about bold. You sign the rights to the story over to the guy and then file a lawsuit accusing him of stealing it, knowing the punishment for making false accusations is 74 lashes and two years in prison. I think I’d just take the L on that one and move on.

Same attitude as “if you are an atheist, what prevents you from killing your neighbor, raping his wife, and stealing all his possessions?” Which really gives me more insight into what the supposedly virtuous you would do if you weren’t afraid of some mythical source of justice.

This sentence seemed pretty questionable: “Turning Red also reflects a new level of refinement in Pixar’s animation, which increasingly reveals direct and immediate human (as opposed to toy, bug, car, robot, anthropomorphized emotion) experiences.”

As a white man, I know don’t have any right to tell a black man to not do the fist in the air.  But, I do feel like that he really shouldn’t be doing that in this situation.

dude what.

Eh maybe. I’ve seen similar “most multicultural” claims touted for NYC and LA.’

were those claims made by Americans who are unaware other countries exist?

Hi Legend, I’m dad!

People with friends and intimate partners.

I’m not sure if he meant the “woman” part in a disparaging way - it seemed like he was using the word because he couldn’t say “this guy.” More concerning is the fact that he’s had just about enough of those homosexual cowboy fellers.

It’s his trademark uniform. Like Colonel Sanders’ white suit which was also many decades if not a century out of date. Do you want to see the 2021 Colonel Sanders in a track suit and backwards Skoal cap? The answer is— surprisingly— yes. Yes I do.
