This show had a bad case of sequelitis starting with season 2. They should have written a satisfying ending to season 3 and been done with it.

In the time of Mr. Show, David definitely had the more striking, memorable characters. But David aged into a crotchety asshole, while Bob became a paternal, if surreal, prestige actor.

Aside from these deaf performers they’ve just added, everyone else is known for having worked with Dre. If they wanted to include a female rapper it would probably have to be Eve. Dre hasn’t worked with many female rappers more notable than her, and her present day career is more or less dead.
