As a streamer I found the tools on YT gaming lackluster when I tried it. A lack of real time metrics and customizability made it an inferior option for what people expect out of a stream.

I’m in exactly the same boat. I recognize the other phones are better, but the actual difference on how I use my phone would be so negligable.

My 6+ is still chugging along but it is definitely slow. I’ll see how well it improves with ios 12 which is supposedly going to speed up older devices. If it gets bad I might try to snag an 8+ when they are on closeout because I am still not sure I am ready to lose the home button.

My iPhone 6S is working just fine. I’ll keep throwing batteries in it until it either catches fire or is dropped in a lake. Phones cost too much now a days to justify an upgrade on specs or design alone.

I think my favorite argument they’ve used was pointing out how many of the gun crimes in NYC were committed with illegal guns (it was high, don’t remember the exact number). Of course they ignored the fact that almost every single one of those was first purchased legally and then brought into NYC and resold illegally.

Uh, they’re definitely not banned in Chicago. The handgun ban was overturned by the Supreme Court a decade ago, with the gun registry ending a few years later. Since then, gun violence has increased.
