Authorities already said Uber is not at fault. Now we know LIDAR is not at fault either. Driver was bored staring at gadgets on dashboard and played solitaire instead - also not at fault. No way Volvo is at fault. Bicycle and victim are not at fault.
I can honestly say this is the first time I’ve looked at a Corolla and thought “I’d consider that.” That smurfy blue is great, too! With a stick!
Who am I? Is this what getting old feels like?!?
That’s it. Toyota finally did it. They made a Corolla that I’m actually interested in/excited for.
It’s almost like there should be a dogleg shifter with a short throw and a leather boot there or something... Hmm.
As others have argued this is no sleeper. And it’s way too expensive. And it’s really no faster, and no more practical than this car from 13 years ago.
You continue to be a fan and i will continue being the man.
Obviously Twitter is another thing Deion couldn’t tackle…
The NBA doesn’t care about mental health. None of the sports leagues do. They don’t really care about player safety, either. Players are interchangeable parts, chattel to be substituted when things aren’t going perfectly smooth. They might say all the right things publicly, but really to every league players are…
the joy of a thousand burning suns.
When track conditions are very good, the tune-up becomes tricky. The cars have to spin the tires a bit during the launch. Don’t spin them enough and get tire shake. Spin them too much and get tire smoke.
I got here as soon as I could.
The women’s race was a bit more competitive.
The bridge was not being stress tested. It was being post-stressed, a perfectly normal part of building a concrete stressed member. Unfortunately one politician heard this, thought they meant stress tested and now every journalist too lazy or stupid to google anything about bridge construction keeps repeating the same…
A crack occurs in locations where steel flexed as the bridge was moved and stresses occurred, or a crack can occur where cement expands or shrinks or both, as it cures, in other words, before the bridge was moved into position. Cracks can be a consequence of the chemistry of the cement and temperatures inside and…
The existence of cracks in the concrete does not usually denote structural failure in a structure heavily reinforced by steel or other materials, underneath the cracks. It’s steel that failed here, somewhere.
You are exactly right in asking that question. And even more concerning is why the center of the bridge was not supported in the middle when it was swung into place. This put a tremendous negative load on the bridge.
It’s so fucked up that anyone is being arrested for any amount of weed.
You misspelled ‘month’.
