They make incredibly risky bets on the market, many times using margin so they can bet money they don’t even have. Multiply that by the 3.2 million people (as of this writing) who follow the sub and the per-person amounts…

I guess if you retire or cash out in the middle of a depression or recession you might lose more money than you invested; but otherwise if you just invest in the market, you will money in the long-term. It grows dependably.
