I can’t even handle this show anymore. Elizabeth’s call to Henry felt like a goodbye call, they’re probably going to get caught in a Chicago, and now Philip is going to get caught too.

That conversation felt like a goodbye conversation. Given that the title three episodes from now is “Jennings, Elizabeth,” I feel like shit is going to be ending in a bad way.

I only recently learned that if two cars get to an intersection at the same time, the car to the left yields to the car on the right. I was taught that the car on the left is supposed to go first. I learned literally the opposite of the correct rule. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I like how this has a complaint about people who can’t do a super merge properly, but then also a complaint about people attempting to do a zipper merge properly.

A few days after I got my car, I went to the store, backed into a parking space, and noticed my license plate was bent in the rear camera. It hadn’t been bent when I backed into my parking space at my apartment earlier that day. What HAD occurred between those two time points, however, was that school let out and a

He didn’t say the unions had anything to do with manufacturing ending. He said the union agreement was the reason for the manufacturing to continue. And the US got the SS because they had excess units that had to be sold anyway, so they spread it out to the North American market.

You still need consistent fill ups for accuracy. If you put 10 gallons in one time, drive 300 miles, and then top it up so much you manage to squeeze in 10.5 gallons next time, it will tell you that you averaged 28.5 MPG. Topping up adds an inconsistent amount

This is why I love power folding mirrors. If I see my mirrors sticking out, the car is unlocked. If they’re visible only as little bumps on the side of the car, it’s locked

Gah THANK YOU. You just put words to a frustration I haven’t figured out how to vocalize before now. IF YOURE SO PROUD OF LIVING THE RURAL LIFESTYLE YOU ARE COMPLETELY UNAFFECTED BY URBAN HIGHWAY BLOCKAGE

Amazon really does sell everything, huh?

Amazon really does sell everything, huh?

Or better yet “ran right up at least until we parked it.”

I was trying to find an article about it (looks like someone else discovered is 11 years old!) and I stumbled across this article about a completely unrelated topic:

That was my favorite part.

A single high-quality, high-power LED emitting <200 lumens can cost upwards of $30 each. So when a headlight assembly has a dozen of them, minimum, that’s going to be a high cost just for basic parts.

Even base model headlights, as you point out, are ridiculous. I have a 2016 Kia Optima LX. All cars imported into Canada need to have daytime running lights, but because I have the base American model, the headlight assembly doesn’t even include a space for DRLs. I wanted to see if I could just replace the whole

It almost sounds like it’s being played by a kids’ toy with dying batteries

I went into a Kia dealer a couple weeks ago for service on my Optima. I was offered a test drive on a Stinger, and I had to forcefully decline because I don’t want to find out how easy to is to impulse buy a car.

It’s two different departments, each company servicing one.
