My mk6 GTI has the plaid cloth interior that gets lots of comments. Relatively tame by these standards, but a nice retro touch that's far less beige than gray or black (or, well, beige).

Great article, as always. Most eye-opening for me was the $36,500 price tag on a base Eos. The same I4 from the (mk6?) GTI with understated styling cues (re:boring), for let's just say 5k more than a brand new mk7 GTI? I don't get it.
