There you go, that's what I knew in 1968. Good for you. In the name of all that is holy, do NOT watch 2010. Written and directed by the very lovely Peter Hyams, of all people, whom I watched as a teenager when he took a turn as an anchor on a local news channel. Yes, he was rich enough that he could dabble in

Really? You LIKED Eyes Wide Shut? Different strokes. Perhaps because I don't think Tom Cruise can act his way out of a paper bag, I did not.

Hah! I love it. The Dexter finale set the bar low enough for eternity. And beyond. Dog shit looks stellar compared to the Dexter finale.

Seriously, Erik? You use a shitty photo from the shittiest finale in the world from the shittiest show in the world?

Right? Of all the photos in all the world of Michael C. Hall, to use the photo from the shittiest finale in the entire world of any shitty show, they had to use THIS shitty photo from THAT shitty finale from THAT shitty show? Judas Priest.

Oh, for pity sake, is there anyone in the world who HASN'T heard of Pink Floyd?

I saw the movie in 1968, in a movie theater that wasn't yet chopped up into multiplexes. Yes, it blew my mind and it would have blown yours.

I just looked further, and you are correct, there are other methods.

“suicide due to asphyxia”

Why hanging?

Big time.

Fantastic? Um, no. True Detective the first season was fantastic, this show won't even come close.

>>>>>>>>>I don't like medical drama. And, I don't like period pieces. And, I'm tired of assholes in leading roles.

Was? Sadly it is still female bashing filth after a certain hour. They'll have to ditch the soft porn (evident even after the second viewing of The Knick) if they want to be taken seriously.

Wow, the most unknown excellent composer. At least he'll deserve the Emmy he gets next year. The show won't.

Where does he go with future episodes? Arm. Check. Toes. Check. Penis. Check.

Sadly, House of Agro, the U.S. doesn't deal in intelligent UK dramas, beyond a few (witness the moron Downton Abbey), and so we'll never see Casualty 1900s, even on the money hungry PBS, unless we pay for them.

Watch any old movies on TCM and you'll see and hear racism beyond belief. Ever hear 'free, white, and 21' in old movies?

And the music was outstanding. It was the best thing about this obvious pilot.

Got us all watching, though, didn't it?
