I always thought the Crysis games were the most refreshing FPS's to date, and because of that I can't really get the same vibe with other FPS without a Nanosuit.

Neither does BF3, because it looks like they barely used any DX11 at all. It's like they used the DX11 name just to talk shit.

Actually, C2 was already being designed with DX11 by the start. HOWEVER, these could NOT have been implemented at launch day, due to time contraints so the console versions, and they wanted to take advantage as much as they could. Because of that, C2 uses DX11 WAY MORE extensively than BF3.

Yet they somehow managed to fit Crysis 1 to consoles without having them to burn them up.

That doesn't necessarily means it looks worse. CE3 is a MULTI-platform engine, allowing the developer to make them look the as close a possible.

I wouldn't call Crysis 2 brown at all. Better yet, it is the most colorful FPS of the year.

CE3 can also do destruction.
