Tenchu had a lot more traps though, which were some fun.  It felt almost more like a puzzle game, in a sense.

You likely aren’t being aggressive enough, which is counter-intuitive for a FS game. You’re able to swing on him a ton, and be really close.

You can heal, just know he always shoots his bow during that, but you get plenty of time to dodge.

Honestly, attacking is more how you win against bosses in this game. It’s not all about parrying.

Eh... not really. Even some of the mid-range bosses, they can all out spam attacks on you, and you’re usually never in that much of a danger if you block throughout.  You’ll have time to roll out, or jump, etc, before more attacks come.

Man, I had like 6 of those items by the time I had the ability to cleanse them.

Most bosses you aren’t likely going to be winning by depleting their HP. Unless you’re very good at dodging and all that for extended periods of time, but if you are... you’re likely good enough to be offensive, avoid their attacks, and parry when possible.

That all said, I do wish we had more weapons. The prosthetics aren’t nearly as useful in most situations, and are really limited in scope.

and take “quests” like quests were in the soulsborne series, not like fetch quests or whatever in typical RPGs.
