Also, Porridge Radio. Their Every Bad album wound up bumping Alphabetland off the top spot for my work-time commute music.

Not a slideshow.  Christmas came early.

Here’s the thing. Trump’s coup is a joke in that it’s failing miserably. But the part that’s scary is:

Sure, but Coe is legit racist. I don’t Judy mean old school racist, I mean the kind of racist that old racists would call racist.

The song that, when it came on the jukebox at my regular bar, everyone started singing. I still know all the words, even though I was almost always drunk when I sang it.

Heard it many times.

People already remove tweets they regret all the time, but not before someone screen grabs it it shows it to the world. If you don’t want shit on the internet, don’t put it there.

Nice one. Mine was “Best Ever Death Metal Band Out of Denton”... or maybe “First Few Desperate Hours”... I can’t quite remember (apologies for contradicting your point). A friend played me one of those two, and I went out and bought We Shall All Be Healed shortly thereafter.

Now playing

...Or how about the Mountain Goats song with a chorus that feels most appropriate to life in the continuous waking nightmare of 2020:

The Cult is fucking great, and I’ll fight anyone who says otherwise.

Some other new stuff this week:

Trump is going to get a boost with this successful appointment”

It’s incredible that, in just the past 3 years, Lenker has given us 6 amazing albums (Capacity, UFOF, Two Hands, abysskiss, and now songs and instrumentals). I cannot recall an artist in recent memory who has been so consistently great.

The debate tonight is going to be insane.  I bet the first time they cut his mic he walks out like a cry baby

It would require Trump to have some iota of self-insight to be shaken by the poll numbers.  Fortunately he does not and is now imploding.

They don’t have time for punking. They’re busy updating their LinkedIn profiles, mailing their resumes to Fox News, and trying to friend Sean Hannity on social media.

Regional craft beers could also make sense. I no longer live within the orbit of Great Lakes, and I do miss their Burning River.

The only the only person I will accept as the new Bandit is Burt Reynolds.
