i’ll do it for you.
i wish cancer on him, his family, his enablers, his handlers, and all of his supporters because they are a cancer on this country, on this world, this universe.

I’ve lived through my share of conservative administrations. This is not a conservative administration.
“I just got arrested for making the perfect meal!” -J. Dahmer.
Moon was incredible to me because he was an absolute flailing dervish who somehow managed to keep great time. Bonham was just an animal, and actually kind of sloppy (compared to the others mentioned, anyway).
Aw man. This one hurts; I didn’t even know he was sick.
That was a superlative show, at least before Alexander left and Hartman died.
I’m kind of wondering if releasing two great albums in one year has actually split their vote so they’re less likely to get one album in people’s top 20's? then again U.F.O.F. seems to be the favourite of most, so maybe I’m just talking shit
I don’t think I’ve listened to a single album this year more than Maggie Rogers’ Heard it in a Past Life.
The Hold Steady is probably the best album of the year, but I’m a fanboy. PUP, Menzingers, Titus Andronicus, Ezra Furman, Mountain Goats, Replacements reissue, Off With Their Heads... so much good music got ignored
I liked The Voyager but thought it much weaker than her first two albums, so was surprised at how much I loved On the Line

That Lloyd Cole album really surprised me. I’ve been a casual fan of his for a while, but had no clue it was released until scanning some lists of stuff from 2019. It’s not in my top ten, but the genre shift works well for him, and a few tunes really blew me away (“Night Sweats,” in particular, gets stuck in my head a…
neither Big Thief album being on here was definitely a surprise - I like Two Hands more, but U.F.O.F. seems like it was tailormade for an AV Club reader!
Racists can’t be anything other than morons.
I prefer to think of the Confederate flag as a participation trophy.
The most unnerving thing about Janice is that for some reason I keep expecting her to be played by beloved character actress Margo Martindale.
I watched it on the recommendation of people in the Jessica Jones comments here and wasn’t disappointed. Underrated classic right there.
Many good choices, but the omission of Don’t Trust the B--a show that is endlessly rewatchable, clever, and feels less dated than one would expect 6-7 years later--is disappointing.
