Deathmate: Whatever. Not only the worst fucking comic ever created, but it took way to fucking long to come out.

This is why I just read Rucka on Wonder Woman. He doesn't have to invent some tough chick to hang with the main character, because the main character is already a tough chick.
KoDT is running late, so there was no issue for July (I hope I didn't get stiffed, at least). Really looking forward to that issue, though.
I got as far as Guys (I think), but in retrospect should have stopped about where you did.
I let Deathstroke gather in a pile over a few months and then read it all at once, and was frustrated by the recent crossover's all-too typical choice to have the major character moment occur in something other than the main character's book. I don't bother with crossovers, so now I have no real idea what's going on…
For some reason, I could only stomach Peter David's Hulk work during the Professor period, but "Future Imperfect" falls in the middle of that, and I remember quite enjoying it. It's actually pretty difficult coming up with credible Hulk foes, but the Maestro certainly fits the bill.
I've been reading the Superman Rebirth trades. They're a lot of fun. Clark and Lois as mom and dad is actually pretty awesome. Superman having adventures with his son and their dog is not something I would have asked for, but the execution is pretty wonderful. I like seeing a Lois who will go toe to toe with the…
Move the Golden Age to the top of the pile. Now.
I have players who push back from anything too weird. I got them to sign off on a crumbling, Ravenloft-like city where they play cops, but when I tried to do a solar system spanning far future post-apocalypse with ray guns and evil giants, the "magic is just technology" made them balk. They wanted magic to be magic.
LEGO City Undercover. This game is such a blast. It started out in a pretty big setting, then once the bridges came down and the rest of the city opened up - I was blown away. There's SO much to do in this place. And it's full of the typical LEGO silliness. I love all the 70s TV cops in LEGO form, for example. These…
Had a day off and a chance to see a movie. Thought I'd end up seeing Spider-Man despite a lack of enthusiasm, but noticed this in the listings when I checked. Figured I'd make a go of it, and I was not disappointed. Frenetic, fun, charming, with great stunts and enjoyable performances throughout. I really liked it.
Raiders is a much, much better movie than most any other movie anyone could mention.
I had a birthday. The day itself was pretty lame, nothing worked out the way I wanted it to, but the rest of the weekend turned out well. Good food, good booze, friends and family. And I'm on vacation for the rest of the week, so that's nice.
That little five panel thing with Clark Kent foiling a mugging is better than the rest of this comic, all by it's self.
Well, shit. Guess I'm watching Thunderheart tonight.
"Fist of Ireland"? Rosacea?
Ha hah ha! And people try to tell me there is a God. This film is living proof that no such thing exists.
We saw a commercial for the Nut Job 2 on the television the other night. My wife looked at me and said "There was a Nut Job 1?" I could only answer "Apparently."
Just skip to killing them. You'd be doing the world a favor.
