Even the movie implied it, without actually saying it.

It's the story of Theseus and Antiope, and the war the Amazons wage against Athens to get her back, but told as historical fiction rather than mythology. It's one of the those books I only recall snippets from, because I read it in about two days it was so good.
I am not a fan of Affleck at all (I still carry the pain from Reindeer Games with me), but he did reasonably well with Bruce Wayne/Batman. There were some horrible decisions made by writers, producers, and directors that did indelible damage to the character, but Affleck did all he could to salvage it.
Are their people who believe that? That's pretty dumb.
Purple ray.
Btw, have you ever read Last of the Amazons by Steven Pressfield?
It's the only way to be sure.
Hmmm. Can we get Cary Elwes as Theseus?
Seriously, don't.
Too much to explain here. But to summarize: all work and no play make Punk a sad boy.
I highly recommend the HP Lovecraft Literary Podcast as something to listen to after you read each story. They summarize, but they also editorialize, criticize, and get enthusiastically excited about Lovecraft and his work.
Outrageous!
Antiope, yo, with the tree arrows, yo. So dope.
I watched the show as a kid. I have read many, many, many comic books with Wonder Woman in them, including several runs of her own title.
I think the Reverse-Oz thing worked well, with Themyscira being bright and sunny and beautiful, and Man's World being dirty and broken and awful. But that made Wonder Woman's bright outfit stand out so much more, too.
Be sure to see the thing while you're there!
B) The Count of Monte Cristo.
Don't do it.
I'm getting there.
