I had pretty much just told my wife that the GotG movies were the closest thing to a Farscape movie I will ever get right before Vol.2 started, and then Ben showed up! I was so happy.

Isn't Abnett or somebody good writing it now? I really don't know.
Yes, it's very silly and clearly carrying on a continuity we know nothing about, but it's good clean fun for a young kid who loves superheroes.
I do keep hearing good things. I think I'm going to have to find the trade.
You know what, I'm just going to apologize and be on my way. I'm sorry I was such a jerk.
I can't seem to find a copy of Earth 2 at my LCS any longer, but the last few I saw seemed to suggest that a proper Justice Society book is possibly on its way.
All it takes is one to justify Superman as a dangerous, uncontrollable metahuman.
Even if Superman is too slow to save everyone (Superman, too slow!) the fact that his only reaction to an explosion like that is to stand there looking sad is so beyond a basic understanding of the character that the one moment ruined the entire movie for me.
I insulted your argument, but if you want to take that personally, that's your prerogative.
But now we're just arguing scope. There are reasons why Wolverine just fights other close combat experts with healing factors and Superman fights criminal Kryptonians and evil gods. The end result is the same in either case.
Sure, but funny how he never has.
Again, this holds true for Wolverine as well. If Wolverine wants you to die, he will find a way to kill you. This is not something unique to any particular character.
So just being concise means you disregard my argument?
Stop copying me. Moooommm! Make him stop!
He did carry that one guy through a wall. I can't imagine that was a non-lethal takedown.
It was pretty awful. The fact that an extended cut exists that purportedly explains all the shit the theatrical cut couldn't, also makes the theatrical cut even worse than it was. Like, if you can't make a three hour slugfest make sense without adding another half hour of exposition, you have clearly failed as a…
No one really believes in altruism any more.
Superheroes win. That's their narrative purpose. This is literally the laziest criticism of Superman ever offered.
Wolverine is no less invulnerable than Superman. Moreso, in fact, because he lacks the Achilles heels offered by Kryptonite and red sunlight. Just because Logan bleeds and Clark doesn't, it doesn't make Logan less unstoppable.
Zod would say something like that, wouldn't he?
