No. There's two different Spider-Mans running around now, though.
Bueno excellente.
I was set to give up on superheroes, but the Rebirth thing brought me back. And I'll always buy a Christopher Priest book - I may have to buy an Inhumans title, for Odin's sake. Velvet was really good, though, I agree.
It really made me appreciate Mon-El and Shadow Lass's relationship, too.
I felt the same way even before I had one, myself. The grimmer and more "adult" comics have gotten, the further away from disposable children's entertainment that superheroes have become, the sillier and more ridiculous they have become, too.
That sounds about right. I remember being floored by the jump from 60 to 65 cents, although I stand by every penny I spent on an issue of Micronauts or Starriors. That Baxter paper was not cheap, my friend.
Ugh.
I always thought a lot of body hair would interfere with hot oil massages, so… um… what were we talking about?
Its reboots all the way down.
Dammit!
A regular issue is $2.99, which is also pretty goddam expensive (I started when they were 60 cents a pop) but not quite as bad as five bucks a pop. This at least is a special issue. DC is doing a decent to fair job of keeping comics relatively inexpensive. Not so Marvel - $3.99/$4.99 is the standard there.
Magic lassos are still allowed, I infer.
Yeah, that's a shame.
Cleaning out the slavers is so much fun. I love talking my way past the guards, walking through town, noting where everyone is, getting into the manor house… and then pulling a gun and killing everybody.
Yes! I really enjoyed that book. It fleshed out the lesser knowns of the Corps, gave Guy something to do, and built up Soranik Natu and the Thanagarian duo, etc. I really like Gleason's cartoony art, too. The only story I didn't care for was the "black ops" undercover one, where they couldn't use rings and had to use…
Hey, why is Rip Hunter wearing leg warmers on his arms?
I have literally no relationship with Baz or Cruz. I've never read a thing featuring them. But I did think that one of the truly brilliant ideas Johns had for the Corps was to bump them up from 3600 Lanterns to 7200, and give all the existing space cops partners. Such a simple idea, but a great one, and I really…
She's a good Sheila, and not at all stuck-up.
I saw a young redheaded woman gassing up her bright blue car one day. Her vanity plate read AMYPOND. There was no non-creepy way for me to tell her how great that was.
