Sounds like it’s time to go aftermarket... No way my car would sit that long without me finding an alternative.
Exactly. I picked up a 65" Samsung TV, in the box, and slid it right into the hatch area of my Stingray. Tied the hatch down and drove home.
Thought 1: I’m never buying a Toyota vehicle if they all come with a DCM sending data to a server about my driving.
This is very interesting. It would help to have more explanation of how it works, how fast it can go, etc.
Just give me a modern G35 coupe. Not a warmed over Q something, but a fresh design that’s as groundbreaking as the G35 was, with performance that beats today’s competition like the G did back then.
Lots of things that were never actually fast don’t seem fast, true. But now we have lots of things that are actually fast and do seem very, very fast. Model S and Taycan come to mind, or for just one example, a used C6 Z06 which can be found for the same $$ as a new Accord.
Scrolled down until I saw a W8 pic. Thank you!
This deserves 1,000 stars. Nobody seems to understand why this is a game changer. It will make ICE seem slow and outdated to the people who used to hate BEVs. All of a sudden BEVs will be the new hotness.
The Alpha types that bought Hummers care a great deal about performance. This is the new family brodozer and every male in need of a d*** extension will buy one.
I don't see how this is relevant. People spend their days sitting stationary in their SUV at the kid dropoff, the drive thru, and in traffic. With luck they might hit 45mph if the road clears. SUV owners drive too slowly for any real range impact.
This is a great leap forward for the Hummer brand. The overpaid overstuffed egos that bought those did it for bragging rights. Like having a ‘family’ brodozer that can baby.
I love this rumor but we must all admit that the chances of Mazda actually selling a car that I would buy new are exactly zero. Turbo inline six = exactly what enthusiasts want, which makes great rumors but poor profits. Whenever this finally comes out we’ll be lucky to even get an inline 4. Sad, because I would…
The answer also seems to be correct. She cannot represent POC effectively in order to respond authentically, and she is smart enough not to offend others by trying to do so, and she doesn’t want to offend anyone. Admittedly she also doesn’t want to say something that will harm her public reputation.
I’ve considered trading my Vette on an R8, GT350, GT-R, and various other cars over the past year. Fuel economy was part of the decision because this is my DD and I don’t see any reason to pour money down a hole every time I want to go somewhere. I still have the Vette because it’s the best solution to my personal…
Definitely both. I go to car shows to see the cars, but if there’s a chance of dumbassery you can bet I’ll find a safe place to watch from. (Behind a thick tree, hundreds of feet away.)
Except organized motorsports events are so organized that they are often dull. Watching some dumbass wreck his personal car is a lot more entertaining than watching a pro beat another pro based on technical points or a few tenths of a second. Why not put up barriers around a designated hooning area and let the idiots…
Ertefa sounds interesting. I haven’t gone to something like that since the 90s. They used to gather all the fast modded cars at the end of an industrial dead end street after midnight, block the incoming road with parked cars about a half mile away, and drag race for hours. Nobody brought booze or guns or drugs. They w…
This reminds me of college football. “I hate Alabama [Bernie Bros] and Nick Saban [Bernie], but after they beat my team [preferred candidate], I’m suddenly their greatest fan because the SEC [Democratic party] must win the national championship [presidential election].
